Eucalyptus Lyocell Fibre also largely known as Tencel™ fibre is a Lenzing Austria's flagship brand for textiles. It is soft to the skin, smooth to the touch, luxurious in shine and flow they caress the senses. It is also naturally softer which lower surface friction. Higher breathability and naturally cooling - perfect for sweaty tropical climate nights. It is moisture-wicking that quickly absorb and evaporate sweat. Best of all, it is hypoallergenic, zero static and better for sensitive skin.
Cool Gel Memory foam is a gel infused foam which help with heat dissipation since the gel absorb faster the heat from neighbouring memory foam. The combination of Tencel Eucalyptus Lyocell Fibre and Cool Gel memory foam, it can break apart water molecules and energy enhancing properties, pulling moisture to the surface, creates a superior moisture management and performance system.3. 4. What are the mattresses made of
Each of our mattresses have their own personality and unique materials. Please refer to the animated illustration or text description of the listing page for more understanding. Each mattress has gone through rigorous testing and quality check before we ship in for sales, not forgetting the purity certification of the fabrics and materials used are safe for you and your family to sleep on the whole night.
5. Which mattress is right for me
It really depends on your habits and preference. Firmness scales is a good indicator of what firmness you prefer for something to sleep on for hours. If you tend to have sensitive skin and prefer something harder, our MattX™ Hybrid Mattress is your best bet. Our Artic Cool Technology™ which is applied to MattX™ DUAL Mattress provides better cooling power and breathable effect it's suitable for local tropical climates. Compare to MattX™ Hybrid Mattress(28cm), MattX™ DUAL will be thinner(20cm).
Both mattress has Two Firmness Choices in One Mattress simply flip over and shift the removable Tencel cover on the side where firmness suits you better. Special feature: each side is a different firmness. One side of our hybrid mattress, which is plusher and cradling, the other is firmer and with more supportive. Just try one side, and if that isn't your thing, simply flip it over and try the other to adjust that best suits your body.6. Why in a box
Being compressed allows the box to be smaller and can then fit into small spaces, reducing packaging which reduces the carbon footprint on the environment and your wallet.
7. Where are your mattresses made
Our mattresses are designed in Singapore and sourced from various manufacturers in Europe and Asia that are ISO 9001 compliant with materials that has the purity certification. Rest assured that the factory offers fair wages and a safe working environment for all their employees.

We have warehouses in Singapore and Malaysia.
9. Will the MattX™ Mattress work with my existing bed base or frame
Typically, the answer is yes. But please take note that an improper or worn out base or placing your mattress directly on the floor will impact the feel of the mattress significantly. And MattX conforms perfectly to our in-house brand Sleepthetic™/ALYA™ adjustable bed base that suit local size mattress length of 190cm.
10. What is the return policy in case I dislike the mattress
Please note that the 30-Night Trial Policy is exclusively applicable to the MattX™ Mattress.
If within the first 30 nights of receiving your new MattX™ Mattress, you’re not completely satisfied for any reason, you may return it for a full refund by email us at askme@affairs.sg with your order number and reason for return.
Please note that if you purchase multiple products, you are only eligible to make one time return within the trial period.
- Your returned mattress will likely be donated to charity. If a pickup is required, Affairs Living will cover the related charges within Singapore. However, we cannot accommodate international shipping and logistics; therefore, your product must be within Singapore to utilize the 30-Night Trial Policy. There are no fees deducted from your refund, and you will receive 100% of your money back. However, you will be charged $90 for delivery through our logistic partner, which is non-refundable. Additional charges may be incurred if your residence lacks lift access, in which case the delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.
- If any freebies have been used, they will be charged at the original selling price minus 20%. If unused and in original condition, they will be returned without further charges. Once we’ve collected and assessed the mattress, your payment will be refunded.
- The 30-Night Trial begins on the date you receive your product, whether by delivery or self-collection. This applies to both in-stock items and preorders. To complete your return, we require an invoice or proof of purchase, and you must be available at the scheduled pickup time. The pickup address must match the delivery address.
- If you’re unreachable or do not respond to our contact attempts after the 30-Night Trial period, you will no longer be eligible for a return. The 30-Night Trial is limited to one product per household and cannot be used to exchange for a different size or product. Returns are not eligible for size changes or incorrect orders.
- Products that are damaged or stained will not qualify for a return or refund. The mattress must be returned in good condition and securely wrapped in its original plastic (or equivalent) to prevent damage during transportation. If not properly wrapped, a compensation fee for cleaning and repair will be deducted from your refund.
- Please note that if you purchase multiple products, you are only eligible to make one time return within the trial period
Refunds will be processed after the mattress is received at one of our warehouses or associated charities and will be credited back to the original payment method.
11. What is the warranty on the MattX™ Mattress and what does it cover
We offer 10 years limited warranty and this warranty extends to MattX mattresses manufactured purchased directly from www.affairs.sg or MattX™ authorised retailers. The warranty is non-transferable, so second hand MattX™, black market MattX™, and mysterious hand me downs are not covered.
Mattresses are designed to work on a firm, solid surface, on a bed base that is structurally capable of supporting the weight of the Mattress and user(s) across its full surface area. The Warranty does not cover your product if you use it in a manner incompatible with that intended design.
The Warranty applies to the following Defects:
Deterioration causing the Mattress to have a visible indentation that is greater than one (1) inch that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Normal wear requires that a Mattress be continuously supported by a matching foundation or adjustable bed base with a proper bed frame sufficient to support the collective weight of the Mattress and foundation.
Any physical flaw in the Mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
Any manufacturing defect in the zipper assembly of the Mattress Cover.12. How long will it take to receive my new MattX™ Mattress
Once you order before 12pm on weekdays, we are able to ship out the same day and deliver within 1-2 business day. Disposal of old mattress is free of charge during this promotional period. 3 hour express same weekday delivery is possible on special request and subject to availability of our schedule, please contact us via Whatsapp or call +65 9653 5877 to inform us of this special request.

Tencel™ and other fabrics used are tested by OEKO-TEX 100 that it meets the rigorous requirement that it is free from harmful substances, The more intensive the skin contact of a product and the more sensitive the skin, the stricter the human-ecological requirements that need to be complied with. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX is an independent product label and fabrics to the ready-to-use items that you can buy in the shops. It is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as accessory materials used. Textile products are awarded the STANDARD 100 label if on the basis if the extensive OEKO-TEX criteria catalogue, they have been successfully tested by one of the OEKO-TEX member institutes for chemicals that pose a health risk, and therefore contribute to an effective consumer protection.
TÜV Rheinland LGA Certificates are issued based on rigorous testing standards that ensure product safety and compliance. These standards include specific extracts from the German Product Safety Act (ProdSG), tailored to the particular features being certified. Additionally, the products are assessed according to relevant EC directives, such as the Low-Voltage Directive, the EMC Directive, and the Machinery Directive. Applicable regulations and laws are thoroughly reviewed, and internal audit programs are conducted to evaluate performance characteristics.
